Roni Nail is the Program Manager and Military Relations Representative for the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce. She is from the little town of Emlenton, PA where she attended Alegheny Clarion Valley High School and graduated 8th in a class of 66. She grew up gardening and hunting and learned to can an process the fruit of their labor. She still enjoys processing the meat from hunting to this day.
After High School Roni joined the US Army and was stationed in Germany with the 299th A. Co, 1st Infantry Division, "The Big Red One". While stationed there she deployed to Bosnia during 95-96. After her enlistment, she continued life as a military spouse and mom and followed her husband around the world, serving by being a FRG Leader and Treasurer.
Prior to working at the Killeen Chamber, Roni worked in behavioral health with active duty soldiers and their dependents to help them work on a wellness plan for recovery. In her spare time Roni volunteers with a High School Band Backers for her son's marching band, helps with the choir booster and with the local FFA chapter. She has 2 girls currently in college. One is studying Pre-Veterinary and the other will be beginning her studies in Music Therapy this Fall.
